HAPPY HALLOWEEN

Happy Halloween everyone!
We had such a fun year with all of the pumpkins, candy, and costumes! Paul and I didn't dress up this year, but we had fun making Camryn a cute little creature! We haven't decided on what exact little creature she was, but we know it was a cute one! People have guessed kitty, mouse, hamster, and bear. We will let you decide. Paul was so thrilled that he was able to pass out candy to all the kids! I think he has been looking forward to it all day! ( or maybe not...) But he is a good sport. I think he did have fun setting up the little photo shoot for Camryn though.
I think that Camryn is just a tiny bit bigger that this pumpkin!

She and the pumpkin are such good friends!

Camryn was slowly sliding over.

What a cute little creature!

Giggly Girl

Camryn was so giggly tonight! I thought that it was so funny! This is the longest that she has laughed too! I was happy that I was able to catch it on video! Also, tonight a little after we took the video, Camryn rolled over from her tummy to her back for the first time!!! Good job honey!

I Love Daddy!

Camryn loves her daddy! She loves to snuggle with dad, laugh with dad, and even hang out and play video games with dad!

Tag! I'm it...

So, I guess I have been tagged... Now I get to play a blog game! (Thanks Bethany) I hope I can come up with some things that people didn't know about me!

Here are the rules: Each player lists 6 habits/facts about themselves. Once you finish posting, you have to tag 6 other people and list them at the end of the post. (the only problem is I don't know 6 other people that have blogs on here!)

1. Habits:
I have a specific order of things I have to follow in the shower.
I'm a little bit OCD about some things I do too... (it is a little embarrassing to admit this!) I count things like the rings on the phone, or stairs when I'm walking.
(Wow! Habits are really hard to think of!)
I have to check my email everyday.
I'm sure there are more things, but it is hard to come up with habits that I have!

2. Hobbies:
Reading
Drawing (even though I haven't had time to do this forever!)
Feeding my baby (this is something that I feel I'm doing all the time)
Going out to new restaurants with Paul (and Camryn now too!)

3. Favorite Things:
My family! ( Baby Camryn and Paul!)
Camryn's big smiles
My extended family
High Heels
Shopping for High Heels
Shopping for anything really (groceries, houses, home stuff, odds and ends, etc.)
Make-up
Sleeping
Candy
Holidays
Reading
(I could go on and on!)

4. Favorite Place:
My favorite place in the whole world is at my uncle's cabin in Montana. It is on Echo Lake and it is the most beautiful and peaceful place in the whole world! I have nothing but great memories from there! It isn't anything unique or extraordinary and it is hard to explain, but there is just something special about the place! I would live there forever if I could!

5. Websites I Frequently Visit:
http://www.blogger.com/
http://www.facebook.com/
http://www.myfamily.com/
http://www.cuteoverload.com/
There are lots of websites I go to, but these are probably the ones I go to just about every day!

6. My Guilty Pleasures:
TV shows I Love- Grey's Anatomy, The Office, What Not to Wear, Next Top Model, Project Runway
Celebrity Gossip
Sweets!!! (I definitely eat to much of the sugary stuff!)
When Paul goes to work, I love to invite our big dog onto the bed to cuddle with me!
Sometimes when it is time to put Camryn down for a nap in her crib, I just let her sleep in my arms instead.

People I'm tagging: Brittney, Caroline, Kalli, Cammie

Sleeping in the Crib

Camryn has now been sleeping in her crib like a big girl! She is sleeping really well too! The first two nights she woke up in the middle of the night. I just went in and gave her her pacifier then she fell back asleep. But last night when she woke up I just left her for one or two minutes and let her fuss, the she fell right back to sleep! I was so excited! She is getting better and better at putting herself to sleep! And I am pretty excited about getting a full night of sleep too!

It is so hard to wake up!

New Thing

Camryn has a new thing that she likes to do. Chew on and suck on her first two fingers. I think that it is so cute! but at the same time...I'm hoping that it doesn't turn into a bad habit!

Sunday Dress

I just fell in love with this dress the moment I saw it! I had to post pictures too of how cute Camryn was this Sunday! She is growing like crazy and it is amazing to me to watch her progress each day! She is such a joy to have and I feel like she makes everyone smile that is around her.

This picture I think she is looking at the camera like Jim from the office.

Tired Work Out!

Camryn has just gotten to the point where she will reach and try to grab things. It is really fun to watch as she tries to get the coordination down. She still swings her arms around kinda wildly, but she is getting better and stronger every day! In this picture she had been playing with her rings for a while and tired herself out! It is hard work developing new skills!

Wolfley Family Visit!

We had a fun week here at the Goodwin residence! My sister Cammie and her husband Tim and their little girl Jane were able to come for a visit!!! It was the first time I had been able to see Cammie since February and the first time that we were able to see Jane! It was so fun to have the little cousins together! Jane was born on March 1st so she is 4 months older than Camryn. It is amazing to see the development that happens in such a short amount of time. These pictures here are of Jane and Camryn all ready to go shopping! They sure seemed to like each other! Jane kept trying to grab Camryn's face though, and as cute as it was, we had to keep a close watch on her! So we went shopping to the large Mall of America. The largest shopping mall in the USA. You have got to go to the Mall of America if you are in Minnesota! We had a great time though! We even got the girls matching shirts! It was great to spend time with my sister and our little girls!

We decided one night that it would be fun to give the little girls a bath together and take a bunch of pictures! At first it turned out great! The girls were loving the water, and Jane even tried to share some of the bath toys with Camryn. She chewed on one for a minute then she tried to stick it in Camryn's mouth. I think she was trying to teach her what to do. It was pretty cute to watch anyway. But the fun didn't last to long as Jane slipped a little and got scared. This made her cry which then in turn made Camryn cry. Then when Camryn cried, Jane had to cry. They went back an forth like this until we got them out of the tub. It was sad, but funny at the same time!

All in all though, we had a fabulous visit with the Wolfley family and I would love it if they would come again soon! I miss not having my family around me, but it makes it very sweet to see them when I do!

Three Months Today!

Camryn is already three months old! I can't believe how time flies! She is such a fun and happy little girl! I can't wait for her to progress and experience new things, but at the same time I want her to stay little forever! Happy Three Months Camryn!

Camryn Annika Goodwin

I know that this is a little bit of old information, but I also know that a lot of you haven't heard the details. I wanted to give a better introduction to my little angel than I did in my last post. I have to say that I had a pretty awesome pregnancy. The first trimester I got a little sick (and only threw up once!) but really it wasn't bad at all. Then my second trimester was a breeze! Even though I was feeling great I swear my stomach was getting huge! The third trimester was going great too until we found out our little girl was breech... I tried all the silly stretches and tricks I could find on the internet to get her to flip, but she was quite happy to stay as she was. So just after I hit 37 weeks I went into the hospital to have an external version done. This was an experience that I hope I don't have to have again, but it was worth it in the end. Our little girl flipped after 20 minutes of trying, but she stayed head down! Two weeks before my due date I was SO ready to be done! I felt so huge, tired, uncomfortable, and anxious! I didn't care how much it was going to hurt or what I had to do, I was just ready! My due date was July 5th but my little peanut was happy to be where she was for a few more days. Two days before she was born, I started to get contractions, but they were so irregular. I was also hoping like everyone else, that I would have the baby on 07/07/07 but that didn't happen. Finally on July 8th at around 4:00 am I went into labor! I didn't go into the hospital though until 1:00 pm and even then they almost sent me home! So I walked the halls, sat in the tub, etc. Then finally around 9:00 pm it was time to push. I had been pushing for over an hour when my uterus started to give out and I had to be put on pitocin to help with the contractions. It worked though and my baby girl was born at 10:56 pm on July 8, 2007. She arrived healthy and happy!

She has always been a calm and relaxed baby. When I had the external version done, she was sleeping, and even when she was being pushed out the nurse said she was sleeping! She was born at 6 lbs 11 oz and 20 1/2 in long.

Paul and I were so happy that she arrived safe and healthy! The whole time I was in labor, Paul was right there by my side. He was so supportive and sweet. I feel so blessed to not only have such a wonderful husband but an incredible daughter as well. She has been the best baby from day one and we are sure that she will continue to be! It is hard to believe sometimes that we are parents and that she is actually ours to keep, but I wouldn't have it any other way!!! I love being a mom!!!

My Little Family

My little family began on April 24, 2004 when my husband Paul and I were married. We first lived in Crystal, Minnesota for 4 months while Paul and I worked for the summer. After that we returned to school in Rexburg, Idaho. Paul finished his degree in business finance and I received my associates degree.

After graduation Paul took a job back in Minnesota. We have been in Minnesota ever since, and I don't see us leaving anytime soon either! We moved into our apartment and I think the first weekend we were there, we went to a pet adoption day. It was there that we found our dog Maximus! He is the best dog ever!!!

After living in an apartment for over a year, we purchased our first house!

Not to much longer after we moved into our house we found out that we were pregnant!!! We were both very excited to expand our family! I had a pretty easy pregnancy all up until we found out that our little girl was breech... that was a bit rough! We managed to get her flipped though, and after that it was back to the waiting game.

Our little girl made her debut on July 8, 2007 after a fairly long and difficult labor, but she made it!!! Safe and healthy!!!

Now we are a great and happy little family!!!

First Post

I was so impressed by my friend Caroline's blog, that I decided to post my own. I hope that it works!
